I'm a green-living, baby-wearing, mostly stay-at-home mom with a passion for theology, growing things (all kinds of things, from babies to flowers to lettuce :/) learning new things, teaching new things, reading and political activism here and there, and bubble baths. I tend to get shoved into the 'liberal' box simply because I believe human beings have an obligation to help one another and better society, I despise bigotry and racism in any form, and am not opposed to checking out new ideas. In fact and in life though, I live very conservatively. I believe in modesty and equality of the sexes with an appreciation for and love of their differences. I have a BSN and several certificates/ licenses in various alternative and natural medicine modalities, but my family is my full-time job. When I work, it's for little to no pay providing pain relief and comfort measures to people with chronic or terminal pain. Sometimes I could cry from fatigue, but at the end of the day, I'm a happy chic.
